How job sourcing works

Where listings come from

LifeSci Radar uses approved public-sector APIs, official university feeds, documented employer applicant-tracking-system feeds, and licensed job-data providers. Every result identifies its source and whether the application route is direct, a recruiter or consultancy, or a third-party job board.

What “Source checked” means

“Source checked” records when LifeSci Radar most recently received or refreshed that listing from its approved source. It does not mean a person manually opened the application page or that the employer guarantees the role remains available. Always confirm availability and requirements on the linked source before applying.

How roles are selected

Source records are normalized and classified by scientific field, skills, seniority, workplace, academic career path, and application route. Low-confidence and ambiguous roles are held for review rather than automatically shown. Paid placement never changes match strength or classification.

Descriptions and application links

Results show source-supplied facts and a bounded excerpt. LifeSci Radar links to the canonical employer, government, university, or permitted provider page and does not accept job applications itself.

Corrections and expired roles

Collection runs refresh active records and expire missing or closed jobs according to each source's documented behavior. Job seekers, employers, and providers can use “Report this listing” when a result is expired, duplicated, inaccurate, or incorrectly classified.
