Beta privacy notice

Privacy notice

Last updated August 11, 2026.

This notice explains what the current LifeSci Radar beta collects, why it is used, and the choices available to account holders.

What LifeSci Radar does

LifeSci Radar helps people discover life-science jobs and receive alerts based on their selected fields, skills, seniority, location, and listing-source preferences. It is not a recruiter and does not receive job applications or résumés during this beta.

Information we collect

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate accounts, operate saved searches, match and email jobs, honor communication choices, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, evaluate relevance, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, provide candidate profiles to recruiters or employers, or use résumés for model training.

Service providers and external links

We use contracted infrastructure providers for database hosting, application hosting, authentication, and email delivery. They process information only to provide those services. Clicking a job link takes you to an employer, USAJOBS, Adzuna, recruiter, or another job source; that site's privacy practices then apply. We do not send your LifeSci Radar profile to those sites.

Cookies and analytics

The current product uses essential, HTTP-only cookies for sign-in and temporary OAuth security. It does not currently use advertising, cross-site tracking, or non-essential analytics cookies. This notice will be updated before those practices change.

Retention and deletion

Account data is retained while the account is active. Deleting an account removes the identity, OAuth connection, sessions, saved radar, interactions, waitlist record, sign-in tokens, and account-linked email delivery and webhook history. Minimal non-identifying audit evidence may remain.

Bounce, spam-complaint, provider, or manual suppression records may retain an email address after account deletion when necessary to avoid sending unwanted or undeliverable email. Job-source records do not contain account-profile information.

Your choices

You can edit radar preferences, pause alerts through any digest, resume a voluntary pause by saving the radar again, and permanently delete the account from Account Settings. You may also request a copy, correction, or deletion of your information and withdraw waitlist consent. We intend to offer these choices to all beta users regardless of location, subject to identity verification and lawful retention requirements.

Security

We minimize stored data, hash sign-in secrets, use secure production cookies, verify provider webhooks, restrict founder tools, and keep credentials outside source control. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

LifeSci Radar is a professional job-discovery service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe such information has been submitted.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be dated here and, where appropriate, presented for renewed consent. For privacy, access, correction, or deletion requests, contact: support@lifesciradar.com
